Upper Merion Township, along with its various neighborhoods of Gulph Mills, Gypsy Hills, Croton Woods, King of Prussia, Valley Forge, Abrams, Belmont, Town Center, Swedesburg, King Manor, Henderson, and Swedeland, as well as the areas of Rebel Hill, Port Kennedy, and Hughes Park, has had a rich history beginning with its inception over 300 years ago in 1713. The aim of the Society is to share this history and to preserve its richness for future generations.
