The 2017 Annual Members Excursion will take us to the Washington Memorial Chapel in Valley Forge. We will be joined in the Chapel by members of the King of Prussia Historical Society and the Radnor Historical Society for an informative presentation, by several very knowledgeable experts, on the fascinating history of the Chapel, the adjacent structures, and the grounds. Following the talk, there will be an opportunity for those interested to explore several different focus areas. Afterwards, the group will reconvene in the adjacent parish hall for conversation and refreshments, including the usual delicious tea sandwiches and seasonal beverages.
The facility is accessible and air-conditioned, and we will be comfortable even if the summer weather is challenging. We are grateful to the Chapel staff for this wonderful opportunity to get a very special inside look at this remarkable site.
