Gravestone and Marker Restoration

Please join the King of Prussia Historical Society at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 14, at Christ Church (Old Swedes) when Eugene Hough, presents “Gravestone and Marker Restoration.”  Eugene will be explaining and demonstrating various gravestone and marker restoration techniques. Eugene specializes in tombstone and cemetery preservation along with educational and archeological studies. Living history is a passion of his and he notes his wonderful experience portraying a continental soldier on these very grounds several years ago. Eugene looks forward to working with, mentoring and developing a dynamic partnership with our organization and in supporting our mission.

Eugene Hough is President of Heritage Guild Works ( HGW“), a sole proprietor operator preservation company which provides a wide range of preservation and restoration services directed towards the care of monuments, markers, statuary including conservation services for metal and stone plaques. Through Artery Works and the Legacy Marker Project, Eugene engages and then works with  students and communities at large in learning about and in turn sharing their unique community narratives via special educational programs and through conducting cemetery preservation projects and clinics.
